I live in Texas and work for a home improvement company. My hours were cut in half three weeks ago. They gave us an hourly pay increase of $2 per hour. That doesn't even make up one hour of pay at the old rate. Since January appointments have dropped. Fewer and fewer people want to hear about home improvement. I'm about to quit. I've been looking for another job for months and haven't been hired. Even truck driving companies are closing their doors. They usually always have jobs in that area.

If they take over Russia and Ukraine their standing would change but they are going to make a run at collasping the US dollar as they have more gold--in theory than other countries. The idea you go from a closed currency to controlled all currencies is pretty bizarre.

Steve, Calm down! The US is going to be ok. In 2018-19 DT moved the FED to be under the US Treasury, this set in motion a series of events that cannot be stopped. By 2025, the Fed will be gone.

Of all the states to pick on.....Texas? I nearly fell over laughing. Texas has such a diversified economy nowadays and relatively low house prices, low taxes, low per-capita state debt and decent median incomes. I'm still chuckling 😂
